Steps to permanently delete your Exchanger account, including requirements and what cannot be undone.

You can request account closure from Settings → Account → Close Account.
Before submitting the closure request, you must: resolve all open trades, cancel all active offers, and withdraw all funds from your Exchanger wallet to an external address.
Once you submit the closure request, your account enters a 7-day cooling-off period. You can cancel the request during this window by logging in and clicking "Cancel closure".
After 7 days, the account is permanently deactivated. Your public profile and trade history become invisible to other users. We retain transaction records for regulatory compliance but remove your personal details from active systems within 30 days.
Under GDPR, EU/UK users can also submit a full data erasure request. This removes all personal data (name, email, KYC documents) from our systems, subject to legal retention requirements.
Account closure is irreversible. Your username is permanently retired and cannot be reused.
